    Corcoran is founded with seven agents and one office on the Upper East Side of New York.

  • 1983

    Corcoran opens its first office in Downtown Manhattan.

  • 1991

    Corcoran holds its famous “One Day Sale,” selling over 100 apartments.

  • 1995

    Corcoran creates Corcoran Group Marketing, a division to develop and market new construction.

  • 1995

    Corcoran.com debuts.

  • 1998

    Corcoran expands into Brooklyn.

  • 2001

    Corcoran sells firm with 700 agents total and nine offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

    Corcoran sets a record by selling the most expensive apartment ever in New York, a $45 million, 12,000 square foot condo in the new Time Warner Center.
